WBIFMS is integrated with 21 banks that collects West Bengal State Government revenue. This includes 18 public sector banks and 3 private sector banks. Banks make respective payment to State Treasuries with help of e Kuber. One must note that e kuber involves no manual intervention for depositing the payment.
What are the modes of GRIPS payment?
The residents of West Bengal can pay taxes either online mode or offline mode. Online Payment of revenue includes paying money via debit cards or netbanking using NEFT or RTGS. Plese be aware that only few banks such as SBI, UBI, IOB & ICICI Bank are eligible for online payment. Offline tax payment includes challan generation using GRIPS. What is the validity of GRIPS challan?
The validity of GRIPS challan is seven days from the date of generation. One must take the challan to the nearest eligible bank and make payment at respective counter. You reprint the challan using GRN and track the status as well.
