IRCTC TQWL/9 Tatkal Waiting train ticket Cancellation Charge 2018 Booking status Refund Amount. IRCTC Tatkal Train ticket booking is really horrible. When i tried to book today for Monday travel, quickly it went to TQWL 9 waiting list. It was worried my travel plan and immediately i got confirmed Tatkal ticket in alternate train. So i planned to Cancel my tatkal waiting list ticket. I worried how much i would be getting refund for tatkal waiting list ticket cancellation. Because most of the time we wont get ticket. That too in week end time ticket will never happen most of the time. We could think that IRCTC is cheating or Software need some more attention. Yes, Software also one concern, because recently IRCTC added one security check Popup question while booking ticket. Sometime questions are irrelevant. That also make us to fail to book tatkal Train ticket properly.
At the time of summer holidays in normal days also we wont get Tatkal train ticket. Most of the people will be travelling in the month of April/May. Here you can find the status of my train ticket cancellation which was booked in IRCTC online portal.

Whenever we cancel IRCTC TQWL Train Ticket before chart preparation cancellation IRCTC will change Rs.60 as a cancellation fee and remaining money will be credited back to bank account. If manual cancellation is not done and we didn’t get seat after chart preparation they wont charge any money. There is one other main case as well, if you not planned to travel in this train as per schedule, better cancel the ticket. If you get seat after chart preparation and if you are not travelling or if you try to cancel the tatkal ticket after confirmation of seat you wont any any refund.
Plan accordingly and cancel IRTCT TQWK train ticket. IRCTC will charge Rs.60 as a cancellation fee. As per my plan my IRCTC tatkal train ticket cost is Rs.370. After deduction i will get Rs.310 to my back account.
